Meet the AA Mediation Center Mediators

Gary Marsh, M.S.W., A.C.S.W.

Mediator and owner of the Ann Arbor Mediation Center, Gary Marsh is a Licensed Master of Social Work in the State of Michigan.  He received his Masters in Social Work from Wayne State University. Gary is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers and a Practitioner Member of the Family Section of the Association for Conflict Resolution. He has extensive experience as a mediator, therapist and trainer. Gary began his mediation practice in 1984.

Pam Raj, L.M.S.W., CAADC

Pam Raj obtained a Masters Degree in Social Work in 2013. She has a Clinical License in the State of Michigan as a Master’s Social Worker. She is a therapist who has worked with co-occurring disorders involving mental health and substance abuse. Her overall therapeutic approach combines a humanistic approach, cognitive behavior, solution focused, stages of change and emphasizes self-care. She has worked in a variety of venues including Wayne County Circuit Court in Family Mediation. Raj is trained as a mediator and joined the Ann Arbor Mediation Center in 2018.

Dr. Amanda Marsh, L.C.S.W., C.C.M.

Amanda is a mediator at AA Mediation Center. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Colorado. She received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan and completed a postgraduate fellowship with Yale University and the West Haven Veteran’s Hospital. Amanda completed a 40-hour civil mediation training in 2009 and a domestic mediation trainings in 2010. Amanda completed a Doctorate in Social Work through the Rutgers University School of Social Work and is the VP of the National Association of Social Workers Colorado chapter.

Dale Simmerman, L.M.S.W., A.C.S.W.

Dale Simmerman received his Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers, a Practitioner Member of the Family Section of the Association for Conflict Resolution, and a Licensed Masters of Social Work in the State of Michigan. He is also a certified Imago Relationship Therapist and combines his extensive experience as a couples counselor with his training as a mediator.
